The APA is committed to:
-
Enhancing the quality of the payroll profession by offering
educational opportunities; - Fostering the exchange of payroll expertise at the local level;
- Raising public awareness of payroll professionalism;
- Representing the payroll profession in Washington, DC; and
- Offering the Payroll Professional certification program.
The steady growth of APA membership since its founding indicates the acceptance of the Association's goals by the U.S. business community in general, and by the payroll profession in particular. The APA meets monthly on the third Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and a short program. Each meeting includes a speaker and informative presentation, which lasts 45 minutes to one hour and is followed by a question-and-answer period. Topics of discussion are diverse and have included wage and hour requirements, 401K planning, benefit administration, tax filing, certification programs, current legislation and other timely subjects. The APA invites anyone with an interest in any aspect of payroll to join us as a new member. The annual membership fee is $50 for the first employee from each company, and additional employees from the same company can be added for $25 each per year. The cost of the monthly meals is separate and in addition to annual dues. Please complete one form per member and return this form along with your dues payment to the address listed at the top of this page.
